Is the Planet Numbers Conference Service really FREE?

Yes, it's completely free from any set-up fees and ongoing charges, such as monthly or annual service fees. The only costs associated with the Planet Numbers Conference Service is the cost to dial our phone number 0844 811 1949, which is a maximum of 5p per minute from a standard BT landine. Calling from other networks and mobiles may be higher.

How many people can I have in my conference call?

There is a limit of 100 simultaneous participants within a conference, however we suggest a maximum of 10 to maintain management and quality of the conference.

Planet Numbers Conference Service only allows me to invite 10 people at a time. How can I invite more people?

You will need to send additional invites in batches of 10 for the same conference call until you have invited all the participants you need to. The reason we have limited the participant and invitation list to 10 people is that most free conference calls on Conference 247 have fewer than 10 participants.

How much is it to call 0844 247 5060 and who pays the call charges?

All conference call participants calling 0844 811 1949 will be charged by the network operator associated with the phone they are calling from. This is 5p per minute (inc. VAT) from a standard BT landline. Other networks may vary, and calling from a mobile phone will cost considerably more.
