Can I use your service?

Anyone calling from inside the UK can use Planet Numbers' cheap international calls service from any landline or mobile phone that allows access to numbers beginning with 08 and 09; our access numbers are generally not available from overseas. Please remember to ensure that you have the bill payer's permission before using the service.

How do I get billed for the overseas calls I make?

Your usual service provider will charge you our advertised pence per minute. You will not receive a bill from Planet Numbers. If you're a customer of BT, then BT will charge you their advertised rate per minute - mobile and other providers pricing do vary, and we recommend that you check with your provider before using our international access numbers.

Do I have to sign up or make any prepayments before I can use your access numbers?

No! All you need to do is dial the Planet Numbers access number before the overseas number to start saving. There are no prepayments (unless of course you sign up for cheap international calls from your mobile, via the SMS top up, which is a prepayment service).

Do you charge a connection fee for each call?

Your usual service provider will charge you their normal call set-up fee. BT charges a 13.87p call set up fee for each call made. (Price updated on 02/01/2013). Other networks charge different amounts, so please check with your service provider for their current rate.

Is VAT included in the price?

Yes, the price shown is the price you pay - there are no hidden fees or additional charges whatsoever!

When do I start being billed?

You'll be charged by your normal provider when you connect to our service.

What is the price of phoning Planet Numbers' international access numbers?

Pricing updated 02/01/2013 and includes VAT at the current rate of 20%
